We have 12 studios at the Last Resort.
Our studio accommodation has proven very popular with active couples who are looking to make the most of the adventurous natural outdoor activities that are right on our doorstep. Having said this, they are also popular with couples looking to romantically reconnect and escape from the modern world for awhile.
The usual sleeping arrangements for a studio are one Queen bed and one single. We do have one studio available with a King-sized bed (studio 17).
The studios are all located just behind the main lodge (also home to our reception, popular bar, cafe and restaurant). They also have a convenient parking space right out the front.
"The Last Resort is a great place to stay in Karamea.
We have just spent five nights in a studio unit at the Last Resort in Karamea nd would go back tomorrow if we could. We found all the staff to be ourteous and helpful, with the managers showing particular attention to detail.
It was easy to fill our time in Karamea with walks, viewing the unique landscapes and fishing. We wouldn't hesitate to return to the Last Resort next time we visit Karamea".
