Our Lodge Twin Rooms are extremely handy to the guest lounge, kitchen, laundry, showers and toilets. They are also just a short stroll from the popular cafe, bar and restaurant.

Traditionally they were most popular with the younger, more active guest, but we have recently noticed an increase with older couples who are visiting Karamea for the natural walks and birdwatching activities.

Lodge Twin Rooms have two single beds per room. They are priced at $50 for a single person, and $37 per person, per night for a twin share.

Accommodation

We offer 5 different types of accommodation at the Last Resort. We are confident you'll find something perfect. Whether it's a relaxing family holiday, a romantic getaway or an outdoor adventure expedition we'd love to have you stay with us.

Cottages

Cottages can sleep up to 5 people and are ideal for families and larger groups. They are private, quiet and fully self contained. $155 a night for 2 people. $20 per extra person, per night.

Studio (ensuite)

Self contained accommodation that's a very popular choice with families and couples. Sleep up to 3 people and are modern and comfortable. $130 a night for 2 people. $20 per extra person, per night.

Lodge (ensuite)

Our Lodge Rooms with ensuite have a private shower and toilet. Tea, coffee and linen are all provided. Sleep up to 4 people. $107 a night for 2 people. $20 per extra person per night.

Backpacker Dorm Room

Our Backpacker Room is an 'old-school' dormitory type of accommodation. We provide all linen and towels, while guests share facilities. The Backpacker Dorm Room sleeps up to 5 people. $37 per person per night.

Lodge Double - Room 16

The best choice for couples traveling on a budget. Linen and towels are provided. While bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared. Room 16 has a double bed and sleeps 2 people. $74 per night.
