It’s extremely handy to all the Last Resort’s facilities, including our well-stocked bar. People who stay in these rooms are usually budget-minded, and they seem to be extremely popular with the active, adrenaline type junkies who like to fill their days with adventure activities, and their nights socialising with like-minded people.
The Backpacker Dorm Room is $50 per person, per night and a great way to meet, and stay with people who share your passion for the outdoors.

We stayed here after mountain biking the Heaphy. For 5 guys staying in a dorm it was excellent: clean and simple.
The bar was great and the meals huge. The hosts were excellent and this really is a great place to stay after exploring the mountains".
